Isn't it wonderful, the way we can make our own bodies do what we ask them to? Putting one foot in front of the other, catching a ball, even speaking - it's easy to forget just how amazing that is, because we do it all the time. I suppose we only notice when things begin to go wrong. When we miss our step, or stammer, or drop the easy catch - then, suddenly, our bodies can seem like strangers to us. At last we understand what a miracle the human body is. But by that time it's too late. We've lost control. The body has ideas of its own...
